Abstract
First mentioned in the Argus in 1924 and at that time twelve sororties were contemplating building chapter houses.The Alpha Omicron Pi house at 1314 N. Fell was built in 1913 for Dr. Edson B. Hart. Dr. Hart was born in 1868 in El Paso, Ill. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University in 1902. Dr. Hart practiced medicine in Bloomington from 1902 until his death in 1939.
