General

"We thought we ought to subit ourselves to questions by third parties. We did this because there are bound to be areas we haven't covered that would occur to others as needing attention. We selected as interrogaters james Bennett, Terry's best friend and a young man who spent a lot of time at our house during these years of alienation, and Douglas Williamson, a friend of Terry's and Jim's, and who married Dianne, daughter and sister. These interrogaters were encouraged by us to ask hard questions, not to pull any punches. This section of the book is transcribed from tape interviews Jim and Doug conducted."
