Identifier: 11-3/5/1

Abstract

"Perhaps the readers of the Argus will be pleased to know something of the work of the Athenaeum Literary Society. Although not much has been said, yet the members havy done some very earnest work and feel that they are being repaid for their time and effort. All of the programs of last term were based upon the American poets, but this term the girls have taken up the study of American History in connection with the historical fiction relating to that subject. It is proving very interesting and some very fine programs have been prepared." -Wesleyan Argus 1899-02-15, pg. 9
