Abstract

Blue Key is a national senior men's honor fraternity. Blue Key is a service club in which membership is based on scholastic achievment and campus activities.

"Here at Wesleyan, Blue Key started in 1943 and ever since has been active in many campus activities, except during World War II. This past fall, Blue Key ran the very successful blood drive. Many other activities shall be planned for this next semester, but the amount of time each member can give to the organization is greatly limited, since the men picked to apply for membership are the campus leaders, the most active men on campus. All those who are asked to apply for membership are either a junior, have achieved an accumulative average above the all-men's average, or their previous semester grades are above the all men's average, and they are outstanding in character and leadership. This is one way that the men on campus may be recognized for the time and effort theyhave put in serving Wesleyan andits various organizations." --The Argus, 2/8/1956, pg. 1
