Scope and Contents
Includes mainly correspondence and a list of materials that were in the A.O. Coffin Library in the Afro-American Culture Center at IWU.
There is also a memo from Carl Teichman that refers to the Bloomington, Il newspaper, The Pantagraph, articles about an exchange between "Radical" and President Munsell concerning the admission of a Black student to IWU. We have the Faculty meeting minutes from April 17, 1867 and the Pantagraph articles transcribed... from May 9, 1867-June 21, 1867.
